About Us

On a rainy fall day of October 2014, meandering along cobblestone paths in Lisbon, a scrawny 2-month-old kitten trailed her soon-to-be savior. After being treated to plenty of food, love, and attention, Sushi chose to make her rescuer her permanent home and family.

In 2015, she became bold, snagged her European passport, and shifted from Portugal's countryside to her new place in Toronto, Canada.

Sushi roamed Canada and the USA, hanging out with squirrels, racoons, groundhogs, dogs, birds, and butterflies.

In February of 2022 Sushi welcomed a new family member, her GSD furry sister named Lunnie. They both teamed up to create 'Your Paw Friends' to help their furry buddies, because the more paws, the merrier!
